Three organised rides are to be scheduled for Saturday, Sunday and Monday from the rides list on the following table or view on ‘Ride with GPS’ – Vetride Grampians Event.

In addition riders may choose to ride whenever and whatever route they choose but there will be limited support.

G05 Grampians NP RoadRide on a steady climb up the Grampians National park then past the lake. the first part of the ride is a little steep, but manageable through the forested area but then into more open country after the hill. The route home has a little more climbing.100Sunday

G08 Halls Gap Victoria Valley *** Alternate route TBA ***
The route starts as a gradual climb along the Grampian National Park Road past the lake. There’s a rest area at 34 km. Just after this we turn right and climb for 3 km 250 metre to a wonderful view of the valley. Then we ride down into the Victoria Valley. This is more open country. On the return leg the climb back over the range is a little more challenging with a 4km 300 meter climb back. The gradients appear to be less than 5%.

Other rides in the Area
Mount Victoria Loop CCW ** Update – This road may be closed due to landslide **
This can only be ridden CCW as a section of the road in the loop is one-way. Climb to Mt Victoria and Reed lookout where there are magnificent views. This is a climb of 500 metres over 10km. much of it is over 6%. Return home mostly down hill but turn right to do the loop to valley then turn left and follow the valley past the lake back to Halls Gap.

Halls Gap Moyston Great Western Stawell loop CCWA beautiful scenic ride with views of the Grampians. travel through the pioneer towns of Great western and Stawell This has 7km of gravel at the 59-66km mark.
In Stawell rides can make a detour up Big Hill lookout to view the town and surrounding country.
